The Formation
of Men
Forming the whole person for a life ordered toward Christ.
A one-day-per-week Tuesday formation program for boys in the Jacksonville area — rooted in prayer, study, work, and brotherhood.

The Forge
The Forge meets one day per week on Tuesdays in the Jacksonville area. We partner with families—the primary educators—to form character through Mass, prayer, serious study, hands-on work, and brotherhood.
Mass & Prayer
The day begins with Mass. Prayer and reverence are the foundation of The Forge, not an addition to it.
Classical Education
Boys enter the wisdom of the Catholic intellectual tradition through reading, memory, discussion, and writing.
Science & Creation
Careful observation of the created world forms habits of patience, precision, and gratitude.
Craft & Skill
Real tools, real materials, and real limits—learning the satisfaction of work done well alongside faithful men.
Brotherhood & Free Play
Time to run, wrestle, compete, and simply be boys together—friendship is part of formation.
A Few Things to Know
Tuesdays, Jacksonville
The Forge meets one day per week on Tuesdays in the Jacksonville area, beginning the day with Mass at Holy Family.
Intentionally Small
Our first cohort will be intentionally small—likely four to eight boys—welcomed with care.
Not a Full-Time School
The Forge complements—rather than replaces—your family's broader educational plan.
Right Fit & Safety
Boys are welcomed with attention to maturity, safety, appropriate supervision, and the right fit for the community.
"Education is a matter of the heart, of which God alone is the master."— St. John Bosco
Pillars of Formation
Intellectual Excellence
A serious love of learning shaped by the classical tradition and ordered toward truth.
Christian Virtue
Habits of prayer, charity, honesty, reverence, and moral courage formed in the life of the Church.
Human Formation
The integration of body and soul through discipline, self-command, integrity, and rightly ordered desire.
Joyful Adventure
Wonder, laughter, and shared discovery in creation and in one another.
Authentic Leadership
Service, responsibility, and quiet strength exercised for the good of others.
True Masculinity
Courage, fortitude, gentleness, and self-gift ordered toward friendship, fatherhood, and holiness.
Parents are the primary educators of their children.
Tyburn Hall exists to support and complement—not replace—that sacred vocation. We are partners in the work of formation, never substitutes for the family.
